Amy Seck

Community Relations and Engagement Coordinator

Amy Seck graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Philosophy, with a concentration in International Relations, from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She is the Co-Founder and Community Outreach Coordinator of SNGL. In her role, Amy works closely with the team to engage and support underrepresented communities in Senegal. She is deeply passionate about advancing sustainable change by building strong partnerships and fostering community-driven initiatives. Her work focuses on raising awareness of social challenges affecting women and youth, strengthening local relationships, and amplifying the voices of marginalized groups. Through her work at SNGL, Amy remains committed to creating inclusive and lasting development that truly benefits the communities they serve.

Maymuna Traore

Communications Coordinator

Maymuna Traore is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Carlow University. She joins SNGL as a Communications Coordinator, bringing a strong passion for maternal health and community engagement. With a deep interest in improving women's health outcomes, she is eager to contribute her knowledge and communication skills to support SNGL’s mission of empowering women in Senegal and creating a lasting impact.

Ndeye Seck

Project Implementation Coordinator

Ndeye Seck graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Criminology at the University of Manchester. She is joining SNGL as a Project Implementation Coordinator, where she will focus on the successful delivery of sustainable initiatives towards women and children in Senegal. Ndeye is passionate in the practical aspects of project design and execution, aligning with her upcoming Master’s in Management and Implementation of Development Projects. She is eager to combine her academic knowledge with hands on experience to contribute, along with the SNGL team, to impactful development.

Nguénar Cissé

Development Project Coordinator

Nguénar Cissé holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Development Practice (MDP). Her experiences living in Senegal, Malaysia, and Switzerland, along with her educational background, have equipped her with critical thinking and analytical skills related to the developmental status of nations. She is particularly interested in economic and community development, financial sovereignty, and the nexus of water, food, and energy.

At SNGL, Yacine coordinates development initiatives, including the Build-a-Well project. In her role, she is responsible for grant scoping, coordinating various initiatives, and collaborating with partner organizations.
